Timeline of David Goggins life

  • 1975: David Goggins is born on February 17, in Buffalo, New York.
  • 1983: At the age of 8, Goggins' family moves to Brazil, Indiana.
  • 1993: Goggins graduates from Brazil High School and enlists in the United States Air Force.
  • 1994: Goggins attends Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.
  • 1995: He completes the Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) training and becomes a member of the United States Air Force Tactical Air Control Party.
  • 2001: Goggins serves as a TACP during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
  • 2004: Goggins decides to leave the Air Force and pursue a career in the Navy SEALs.
  • 2005: After overcoming significant obstacles and losing over 100 pounds, Goggins enters the Navy SEAL training program, also known as Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training.
  • 2005-2006: Goggins goes through Hell Week and successfully completes BUD/S training, becoming a Navy SEAL.
